Help Us Fund Transportation Costs for School Groups!

Today is Giving Tuesday, the annual day of charitable giving. On this Giving Tuesday, The Walden Woods Project is raising funds to bring more schools groups to Walden Woods.

We recognize that transportation costs are often a limiting factor for school field trips. Therefore, we want to ensure that a lack of funding does not prevent students from visiting Walden Pond/Walden Woods and from participating in our education programs linking Thoreau’s philosophy to the environmental and social reform challenges of the 21st century. We are seeking your support to establish a fund that will cover transportation costs for students from schools in need.

With your help, more students will experience the land and legacy of Henry David Thoreau both in the classroom and in Walden Woods.
